Absolutely! There's still a strong demand in the oil and gas sector, especially with LNG projects, digital technology roles, and environmental specialists focusing on areas like CCUS and hydrogen. And hey, traditional jobs like petroleum engineers and project managers are holding up quite well too especially in places like Texas and Alberta, where the action really is

Thanks, I have a background in mechanical engineering, and I've worked mostly in maintenance planning. I'm open to pivoting a bit, just want to stay in a stable field.

Yeah, in operations, maintenance, and automation, good opportunities are there and the energy shift is real, but oil and gas isn't disappearing anytime soon though coz they still need skilled hands and sharp techs to keep things running, we adapt as things evolve
